Azerbaijani UFC fighter Nazim Sadikhov will not compete at UFC Fight Night.
Offsideplus.az reports that Sadikhov announced on social media that he suffered an injury during the first days of his training camp and has been dealing with it for more than five weeks.
“Hello, friends. I have some good news and some bad news.
The bad news is that I won’t be fighting at MSG. I suffered an injury in the first days of my training camp and have been dealing with it for more than five weeks now. Initially, the plan was to continue training despite the injury and still fight. However, my opponent also withdrew from the fight due to an injury. Therefore, my team and I informed the UFC that they should not look for another opponent for me.
The good news is that I will not need surgery or a long recovery process. I will recover from this injury and return to fighting as soon as possible.
Thank you to everyone who has been by my side. See you soon", - said Nazim.
