President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree regarding the hosting of the first U-15 World Cup and festival in Azerbaijan in 2026.

According to Offsideplus.az, this prestigious tournament will be held in our country from October 22 to 31, following a decision by the FIFA Council Bureau. Hosting this event will enhance Azerbaijan's reputation in the international sports arena and contribute to the development of football in the country.

The decree assigns the coordination of activities related to the tournament to the Organising Committee previously established for the U-20 World Cup (2027).
