The next "Baku Open" International Chess Festival will be held, organized by the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ACF) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Offsideplus.az informs, citing the ACF, that the prestigious tournament will take place from April 28 to May 6 at the Baku Crystal Hall.

The festival will consist of 9 rounds under the Swiss system across three groups (A, B, and C). The Azerbaijan Veterans' Championship will also be held as part of the competition.

It should be noted that the prize fund for the "Baku Open" is 50,000 USD. The opening ceremony of the tournament is scheduled for April 28.
