The head coach of the Azerbaijan women's national 3x3 basketball team, Ratomir Delic, has shared his thoughts on the upcoming World Cup.

Offsideplus.az reports that the expert emphasized the immense significance of the prestigious tournament, scheduled to take place in Warsaw, Poland, from June 1 to 7. Delic stated that competing in a championship of this caliber is a childhood dream for every athlete and coach:

"Participating in a top-level tournament like the World Cup is the ultimate childhood dream for every athlete and coach. Fighting for the world championship against the globe's strongest teams brings us both immense pride and serious responsibility. Our team will strive to display maximum focus, energy, and fighting spirit during every single 10-minute stretch on the court. Our objective is to step into every game with a winning mindset, represent our country honorably, and achieve a successful result."

The head coach added that while the world's strongest selections will gather in Warsaw, they do not fear any opponent:

"The tournament will feature the world's best 3x3 basketball players and top-tier teams. Nevertheless, we are not intimidated by any opponent. I believe that if we maintain our current focus and game discipline, we have the strength to compete against any team. Our main goal is to showcase our own style of play on the court and unlock our potential to the fullest. If we achieve this, we can be satisfied with our performance regardless of the outcome."
